Today is a good day! Well done McLaren Vale - our voices have been heard 🙏There has been a lot of community interest in an application to add PFAS to the list of contaminated waste able to be received at a McLaren Vale landfill.

After a rigorous assessment the Environment Protection Authority has decided not to approve this application.

While the company had proposed best practice engineering measures in its application, the Board considered an unacceptable level of risk remained.
